Yesterday we headed out about 1 o'clock and arrived in Nashville last night after midnight. We made a few stops along the way, but all in all, it was a good day of travel. Columbia was a nightmare and we had to bypass it completely which added an extra hour or so to our travel time. The girls figured out pretty quickly that time in the car can be tedious. They drew, played Uno, did Mad Libs, watched a movie and fell asleep about 9:45 and slept the rest of the way.
Thanks Gran and Pop for meeting us with our generator! Wish we had a Cabella's :(

First state passed through, North Carolina!! Katie Jo decided that when we spotted a state sign, to yell it out, and everyone else would give a woo hoo!

Nothing like seeing the moutains to feel like you're finally on your way. Seeing the thermometer drop from 100 to 80 was nice too!

Passing through our first tunnel! It's the little things that can pep up the car riders :)

Entering Tennesse!!!

Dinner at Cracker Barrel

This morning's view. Ready to see where today takes us.
