Four more sleeps is how we are measuring the time between now and when we leave. I'm getting so excited this week as I do the final shopping, list making, and clothe packing before we head out.
Have I mentioned the over site, on our part, to the timing of this trip? While gone we will celebrate Father's Day, Fourth of July, our Anniversary, and possibly Georgia's eighth birthday if we don't get back home by the 10th. So, in addition to all the other travel plans, I've been organizing all the gift-giving and decorating that will be involved with the above. Holy Moly!
Along with plenty of games, journals, art supplies out the kazoo, Kindles, and movies, this is also a collection of activities for on the road.
So excited for plenty of reading time!

ReplyDeleteThis is great. These memories will stay with you, Jay and the girls, literally for their lifetime. Once travel gets into the blood, you won't stop. Let yourself step back and pause in each place and breathe it in. the logistical stresses will be worth it all! Can't wait to follow the trip!
